The Girl with Big Dreams

At 5:00pm, in Washington DC, a baby girl named Jemma Peters was born. She had dark brown hair with beautiful sky blue eyes. She was raised for two years by her mother, Serena Blue, the famous actor, and her father David Peters.

At the age of 3, her parents divorced and Jemma's mom married her stepfather, Henry Olsen. Every weekend, Jemma was brought to her father's house until she was 6 when her father moved to Japan.

Every birthday, Jemma would receive a postcard from her father in Japan. Jemma's mother actually forbade her father from having contact with her ever since Jemma was in elementary school, so it was a secret between Jemma and her father.

One day, during her 15th birthday, she waited at her doorstep for the postcard from her father to arrive because she did not want her mother to find out. From 11:00am to 4:00pm, she sat at her doorstep, still waiting. After a few minutes she decided to go inside.

When she closed the door, her mother showed her the postcard. Jemma was scared and shocked that her mother knew about the postcards. She pleaded her mother to give the postcard to her, but instead, her mother threw the postcard into the fireplace. Jemma's face became red and her eyes started to water. Her mother left the room and Jemma all alone, crying on the floor.
